Life is too short to take yourself too seriously. I believe in leading with a good heart, finding joy in the little things, and remembering that with determination and the right intentions, you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.

My name is Ciera, and I've proudly called Arizona home for more than thirty years. Over the decades, I've become a true desert rat, happily settled into the dry heat. There's so much I love about where I live. Lake Havasu City has given my daughter and me a beautiful place to call home- a town filled with peaceful days, a fun playground, and sunsets that paint the sky well into the evening.

The desert has become one of my greatest inspirations. While we may not have rolling green hills or towering forests, I've learned that beauty is found in the details. It's in the layers of mineral-rich rock, the volcanic pressure that, over millions of years, transformed ordinary elements into extraordinary gemstones. It's in the intricate swirls and colors within each stone, in the rugged mountain range where every ridge tells a story, and in the lake that mirrors the vibrant colors of the setting sun. The desert landscape inspires my jewelry and reminds me that nature creates some of the world's greatest masterpieces.

At home, I’m surrounded by love from my beautiful daughter, two fur babies, and an ever-growing collection of plants that somehow keep finding their way into my house. Professionally, I’ve worked in healthcare for 19 years, including 15 years as a dental hygienist. I firmly believe oral health is the gateway to overall wellness and that caring for your smile is caring for your whole body. While I’ve always had a creative side, I knew art would have its own season in my life. That season is now.

I’ve been drawing, painting, and making jewelry since I was a young teenager. In 2009, I founded Sugarcane Jewelry, and in 2023, I opened Heart of Gold Fine Line Tattoo. Like anything worthwhile, building a dream takes patience, persistence, and time. Healthcare allowed me to build a meaningful career, but creating has always been where my heart belongs.

Today, my passion is designing meaningful tattoos that tell someone’s story, preserve a memory, or simply celebrate a moment in their life. I also love sharing my creativity by teaching others—whether that’s guiding someone through creating their own gemstone ring or helping them discover talents they never knew they had.

My goal is to create more than beautiful artwork. I want to provide a safe, welcoming, and inspiring space where people can express themselves, learn something new, and leave with something they’ll treasure for a lifetime.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that creativity belongs to everyone. Sometimes all you need is someone who believes in you enough to say:

You can do it. I know you can.
